BTW, is that considered sepia? I don’t love sepia but this looks more gold than brownish.? Care to share any pp tips? Love it!

This is definitely one of favorites and thank you for the comments! It would be considered sepia, but I like mine more gold than brown. For BW/Sepia conversions, I start with a Gavin Seim preset in Lightroom and adjust from there. It’s also important to note that BW/Sepia conversions are very different when applying to jpeg vs. RAW files. Scott Kelby’s Lightroom blog had some info about that the other day.

Holiday weekends are always exciting, but this one is special. Kyser, the middle brother, flew in from NYC this afternoon and met his niece for the first time. The lighting on the first pic is awesome.
It has been a great weekend with Alice’s family and my brothers. I slipped out while everyone was eating BBQ and headed to the railroad tracks near Toby Field. Below that are Kyser and Alice at my parents’ house after dinner.
