Day 365 of 365 – Whose Chopper is That?

Well, here we are.  For the last year, I’ve taken a photograph every single day and then uploaded that photo to my 365 Day blog.  I can’t think of too many other things that I did every single day for the last year.   I think I even went a day without brushing my teeth (sorry). ...

Great ending! I loved following your blog & your photographs. I am just a novice with a Nikon D60, but I am on Day 95 of my own 365 Project. I agree with you, you do see things so much differently! Looking forward to your next project. Congratulations!

Excellent decision for the final picture! I’ve been thrilled to keep up daily. You’re an amazing photographer with natural talent, and although your style is a bit Olan Mills-esque, I am still proud to be your bro, bro. Can’t wait to see the exhibit!

suzanne - April 30, 2010 - 3:26 pm

Thanks for 385 days of color, beauty, humor, whimsy, insight and though invoking images. You did cause me to look more deeply into every day items and events and for that I also thank you.

At my age “endings” are not something to look forward to so I hope
this is the beginning of a new adventure that you will continue to
share with your followers.

P.S.
Did you realize that you are a large man and that is a very small
aircraft?

Love to you all.

Laura Lee - May 1, 2010 - 1:11 pm

Perfect! You must start another project or I will not know what to do during nap time! Congrats on a job very well done!

Day 339 of 365 – Fellowship at the Orpheum

I’ve been part of the video team at Fellowship Memphis for a few months now and have loved every minute of it. The church has 2 campuses – one at Crichton College and one at Downtown Elementary. Every Sunday, there are services at both locations, but Easter Sunday brought both locations to the...

Day 309 of 365 – Sunset on the River

Sunsets on the Mississippi River never get old. This bridge, however, is quite old.
The Memphis-Arkansas Memorial Bridge was opened in 1949 and is a cantilevered through truss bridge (according to Wikipedia). There’s just something about it that I love photographing.

Day 259 of 365 – Sunset (Color and BW)

10 minutes earlier, this sunset was incredible.  I moved as fast as I could leaving the office, but everything that could take longer, did take longer.  The elevator in the parking garage was absurd.  Alan – either of the ones below are better than the other old bridge shot.  Enjoy.

Frankly I like the look of the sky just above the trees under the bridge. (It’s really not UNDER the bridge but I think you know what I mean!) Also the reflection on the water is outstanding.

Marti DenUyl - January 14, 2010 - 8:49 pm

Very pretty

Alan - January 15, 2010 - 10:12 am

Both are fantastic! There is just something about that bridge…

Day 230 of 365 – Bridges
