The Thompson girls come home tomorrow and I’m excited to have them back! My tripod and a shutter release timer helped me get these of the backyard bird feeder. I think that’s a woodpecker in the second two pictures, but I’m not 100% sure.

Michael, Congratulations, you have captured a picture of an ivory billed woodpecker! He must have flown over from AR. Quickly, throw a net over him or at least sell tickets and binoculars for backyard viewing. You should be able to make lots of $’s before a knowledgeable person calls your hand.
I’m putting up a privacy fence now. Just so there are no free looks…

Obviously didn’t see her on the beach, but thought an updated picture of McLean should make the blog today. This was taken post-bath right before bed time.

I noticed this bird’s nest the other day, but didn’t see any birds in it. When I got home today, there were two birds peeking out of the top. I got on a ladder just before the sun went down and captured this through a tiny opening in the branches.
