As Project 365 winds down, I’ve been reflecting on some of my favorite shots and several of them are food-related. However, only a couple have any part of me in the picture. So here’s a self portrait in mid-meal preparation by the grill.

My Project 365 Blog
Thank you visiting my photography blog. So, what is Project 365? It's a photography project that entails taking and uploading a picture every day for one year. It sounds easy (at least it did to me), but there have been 2-3 days that I had to work extra hard for some motivation. But the cool thing to me is that not only have I learned exponentially more about photography, equipment, shutter speeds, apertures, and composition than in the year prior, the greatest effect has been what I see when I don't have the camera. I have noticed so much beauty, speed, color, darkness, light, smiles, frowns, happiness, sadness, life, death, and the list goes on. I'm much more aware of the good and evil of this world.
To sum it all up, this project of making 365 pictures in 365 days has given me an entirely new look at the world and I love it. I hope you enjoy what I'm seeing and sharing. I'm not sure what happens on Day 366, but for some reason I think it'll be different for me. Maybe like something is missing. But, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. In the meantime, enjoy the daily photographs.
