Day 315 of 365 – Finally Grilling

Finally a great night to fire up the grill with some chicken breasts.

To me, the grill is symbolic of great weather.

Day 314 of 365 – Sunflower

On the way home from the office, I stopped by the grocery to get some essentials.  As I was walking out, I saw some sunflowers and remembered that I had not taken today’s picture.  Instant and cooperative subject for five bucks.

Day 313 of 365 – Central BBQ

Was in Atlanta last night and today, so as soon as I got in the car at the airport, I headed to Central BBQ.

As always, it was delicious.

Day 312 of 365 – Baker

Won’t be able to take a picture tonight, so I got this before leaving the house this morning…

He’s just posted up looking for squirrels that are living dangerously.

Day 311 of 365 – Stick Woman

One of those rare Sundays when my cameras combined for less than 10 pictures. And on the nicest day of the year. I guess I just enjoyed it. Happened to see this on the sidewalk when we were walking around the neighborhood. Glad I stopped because it’s all I have today…

Day 310 of 365 – Same River, New Bridge

Back on the banks of the Mississippi River (north side of the new bridge tonight), but this time I had some new subjects…

Much like the other night, I’ve been experimenting with balancing ambient light with off camera flash. After getting home and processing these, I’ve got a bunch of ideas on how to take better ones.

Day 309 of 365 – Sunset on the River

Sunsets on the Mississippi River never get old. This bridge, however, is quite old.

The Memphis-Arkansas Memorial Bridge was opened in 1949 and is a cantilevered through truss bridge (according to Wikipedia). There’s just something about it that I love photographing.
